Actor Joseph Lacerda takes the spotlight on being, "Eric Hensen".

Joseph Lacerda doesn’t want you to miss the opportunity to see him and his co-stars on the big screen. A native of South Plainfield, New Jersey and a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey, Lacerda enjoys road trips and traveling, playing soccer, participating in extreme sports such as cliff jumping and skydiving, playing guitar, skiing black diamonds in the winter, going to unique bars with good company, and hiking beautiful mountain and nature trails.

But what he also enjoys very much is acting, which Joseph really got into in throughout his college years. He explains that fear was a big setback for him, but once he overcame it, he really became at ease.

Lacerda was drawn to My Brother’s Girlfriend due to director Nicholas Marchese’s, “...professionalism, organization, and dedication towards his film.” He had many connections to his character, Eric Hensen.“ I pictured him more of a sheltered kid growing up but once he went to college Eric grew this confidence and thought highly of himself. This brought on a bit of an arrogance and I tried to show that characteristic in Eric's mannerisms. Overall, Eric was truly proud of the man he had become.”

Most recently, Joseph co starred in the Manhattan Stories episode “Gino” playing a tough NYC undercover cop as well as a big shot lawyer in an N.Y.J.D episode. Joseph also starred in the short film “A Ticket to Paradise” which was screened at the Campus Movie Fest Hollywood Premiere in Los Angeles.
