Due to the overwhelming demand to see My Brother’s Girlfriend, Sunday, January 11 added an additional screening at 7PM. Don’t miss your last chance to see the Hensen family and queen of the household, Sally, portrayed by Stacey Schnepp. In this holiday season, Stacey takes a look back at what drew her to the project by filmmaker Nicholas Marchase. She explains that, “the story and how the characters were so based in real-life. This was so current and the fact that the characters paths could change based on one small trigger in their lives just mesmerized me and pulled me into the project. I just had to be a part of it!”

Born in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Stacy moved to Long Beach Island, New Jersey at the age of five and has resided there ever since. She prides herself in work both on and off the stage, which include: singing, directing shows & serving on the Board of Directors for her non-profit theater group she volunteers with, serving as the Room Parent Coordinator for her son's classroom at school and being a proud parent of two rescue animals.

Stacy explains that she was hooked on acting since the age of seven, when she, “ just couldn't get enough.” But because of tough times with the economy, “the need for money and supporting a family won out and I had to let it go for a more sensible career path. But I still kept acting in my life always, just more as a hobby, but it has always been my passion”!

My Brother’s Girlfriend was a “simply amazing” experience for Stacy, and she really enjoyed filming the restaurant scene. She advises anyone who wishes to act to never give up. “follow your dreams and your passion. I [never gave up] and I got to share this experience and have this opportunity. It was a special time in my life and I loved every minute of it.”

Stacy Snepp stars alongside Joseph Scarpino, Kelsey Potkay, Joseph Lacerda, Matthew Muscarello and Danny Siegel. My Brother’s Girlfriend is a dramatic comedy that interjects a realistic perspective on what is seen as society's new social norms. It will premiere at the Duncan Smith Theater on January 9, 2015 @ 8pm. Screening Jan 10th @ 8pm, and 11th @ 3pm and 7pm.
