Actor Matthew Muscarello takes the spotlight on being "Michael Hensen"

HOLMDEL, NJ - We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support for My Brother’s Girlfriend. Tickets to the initial three screenings of the film have sold out and The Holmdel Theater Company has agreed to offer one last opportunity for you to see the film before it opens at multiple film festivals. If you haven’t purchased a ticket, the last open screening of My Brother’s Girlfriend is Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 7PM. Purchasing a ticket in advanced ensures that a seat will be available for you.

Sunday’s 7PM screening will also be the last chance to catch Matthew Muscarello, a 10-year-old Staten Island native who is fresh to the acting community. Matt, the younger sibling of three, was always involved in family feuds and felt that the character of Michael Hensen was written just for him.

His first acting experience, My Brother’s Girlfriend, was an opportunity for Matt to try something new. “I’ve seen some of Nick’s other projects and always wanted to get involved in one,” he said.

Matt can usually be found playing football, paintball, and lacrosse, but because of this acting experience and the fun times he had on set, he hopes that other projects will pop up for him.

When asked about Matt director Marchese said, “Casting kids are tough. When Matty came along I immediately saw his addition to the Hensen family. He always came on set ready to work, had I not known him I would have believed this was his fifth or sixth film.”

As Matt looks forward to watching the final cut of the film, he reminds everyone that the screening on Sunday, January 11 at 7PM is the final time to see his feature film acting debut and hopes to see many of his friends, family, and supporters there.
